BACKYARD ORCHARD

The brief for this new backyard in Lithuania was to create an orchard garden to enjoy fruit trees like apples, cherries and some cultivated shrubs that produce fruits. In the south-east side of the garden was created a play area with swings and the sandpit for children which could be replaced into a raised garden bed for vegetables and herbs in the future. Along the fence, near by the terrace were planted beautiful birch trees to give a greener view and on another part of the fence was made an evergreen hedge for screening and reducing noise.
